Pick & Place
Pick and place robots are one of the most versatile pieces of automated equipment. End of line sorting and picking are common in warehouse material handling applications. Industrial uses for picking robots include bin packaging, picking, machine tending, and assembly. Your needs will determine which type of robot you should consider.
Case Pack
Case packing is an automated process of placing products inside boxes or containers.
Cells
A robotic cell is traditionally a safety enclosed area where an automated process is done by an industrial robot. A robotic cell is often referred to as a robotic system or automated work cell. A cell includes the robot(s), workspace, controller, and safety system around it. Robotic cell safety systems are of paramount importance, as they define the work cell geographically and will not operate if boundaries are breached. Safety systems include Cages, guards, sensors, laser curtains, and safety controllers. Collaborative robots can be integrated, allowing for the safety environment to be more flexible about the presence of people and equipment.
Palletizers & Depalletizers
Palletizers use automation to orient and stack boxes for the purpose of creating a completely stable loaded pallet. This is achieved via articulated robot arm or through conveyor manipulation and layer transfer.
Depalletizers often use transfer and conveyor principles. Custom equipment is usually designed and built specific to the application. This process includes and not limited to bottles, cans, boxes, bags, and almost any other palletized product or container.
